Being established in 2009, SKU is the youngest of the five public universities in Lao PDR. Located in a rural area, SKU is committed to provide equal access to HE for both the urban and rural people, in particular, people with fewer opportunities from remote areas.The University offers 2 Master degree programs and bachelor degree for normal course, continuing program and bridging program as well as short term course of teacher training. SKU research activities have focused on Logistics, Mobility and Sustainable Transport, mainly developed by the Logistics Center of Excellence and Entrepreneurship Center of Learning.
